Panthers U16 boys were down in Edinburgh for an early afternoon tip vs Dundee Madsons. Both teams put their undefeated record on the line with Panthers looking to go 5-0. Panthers lost key player Matty Kiraly in the first 30 seconds with a wrist injury meaning they were down to 6 players. A back and forth game right down until the final few minutes where Panthers clinched the win under the pressure. With 2 players fouling out, Matty played through the pain so that Panthers could finish the game with 5. This win saw the boys win the NDL with a perfect 5-0 record. Lewis Ross and Aaron Donaldson top scored with 19 points each, on Aaron’s panthers debut. Nathan, Harrison, Blair and Scotty all played outstanding defence start to finish. A great team performance with every player being so valuable to the win.
